SAFER ZONE

SaferZone is PrideAlive’s monthly sexual health workshop.
 
It is a perfect way to meet some new friends, hang out and have some fun, all while become more informed!
 
The workshops consists of various group activities that explore sex, sexual health, risk negotiation.
 
Whether you consider yourself having a high level of sexual health knowledge or have never participated in a sexual health workshop before, SaferZone is great way to spend a couple hours. The workshop is based on group discussion and dialogue, allowing participants to learn from one another and come away with new tools and ways to think about their sexual health. Oh, ..and no worries, Saferzone is strictly confidential. What is said at SaferZone, stays at Saferzone.

SafeR Zone Sero-uncertain Encounters is an interactive one-day group experience. It is a five-hour exploration of ideas, beliefs and clarifications about sex between men. There is no further commitment beyond attending. We will feed you, answer your questions and have some fun. The event is intended to have 8 – 10 guys openly discuss their sexual lives in a safe and confidential space.

1) Are you in the habit of heading home from work, signing on to Manhunt.net or Gay.com and looking for “dates”?

2) Do you like to head into the
great outdoors for public sex?

3) Do you go clubbing with friends and from time to time find yourself heading home with someone new?

4)In the past year, have you had
more than a single partner?

If you answered yes to any of these questions consider this event.

At this training you will learn the basics in becoming a Safer Zone Facilitator.
