The CAB is open to community representatives interested in furthering the mission of PrideAlive

Mission
PrideAlive is the queer men’s initiative at the Minnesota AIDS Project. We’re a group of gay & bisexual men confronting social issues including homophobia, HIV/STD prevention and heterosexism. We want to construct a space for all queer folk to work together, play together and collectively create community.

Revised and adopted at the January 20, 2005 Core Group meeting.

The implementation of the Community Advisory Board (CAB) which happened in August, 2005, was an important one for PrideAlive becauseit marked a pivotal stage of development in the program’s history. 

The CAB is an optional component of the implementation of the Mpowerment model.  Although it is optional, we value and expect the contributions made by the CAB will be valued and substantive.
