PrideAlive is looking for volunteers, and we are the perfect opportunity to get involved. Whether
you just have a couple minutes a week or all the time in the world, PrideAlive has a volunteer
opportunity to fit your schedule. Most important, you will have lots of fun, meet some cool people and be able to choose the volunteer position that is right for you!
Outreach workers go to various LGBT venues – usually at night – to distribute safer-sex information and
supplies. This opportunity is great for anyone social who loves to go out into the community and meet new people. We are looking for volunteers who can offer a six-month commitment, attending two outreach shifts per month. Outreach shifts are roughly three hours long and usually between the times of 10:00 pm and 2:00 am.

This position involves distributing safer-sex information and materials to your social networks. This
position is great for anyone with a wide social circle, especially lots of friends in need of condoms.
You just go about your typical life, but have safer-sex information and materials available to your social circle. We are looking for volunteers who can offer a six-month commitment, distributing a minimum of 50 safer-sex kits per month and picking up safer-sex kits at the Minnesota AIDS Project offices once a month.

This position is the bones of our condom distribution operation. Every Tuesday night volunteers gather at the Minnesota AIDS Project to assemble our safer-sex kits and work on other occasional projects. This is the perfect volunteer position for someone who likes to do things with their hands while meeting new people and eating tasty food. No minimum commitment is required. Stop by any Tuesday Night at the Minnesota AIDS Project offices from 7:00-9:00 pm.
