Rob GrahamHealth Education Coordinator Rob has been involved with PrideAlive since May 2010. He has worked at the Urban League as the program coordinator for the Community PROMISE program, a CDC funded project to reach African-American men who have sex with men to increase condom use. Using role model stories created by program peers, Rob coordinated recruitment of new volunteer peers, training in HIV/STD risk and transmission, connection to health care, development of new role model stories, and outreach with volunteers to distribute the stories with safer sex kits in venues frequented by African-American MSM. Rob brought stability and organization to the program as well as skill in organizing the Urban League’s World AIDS Day events and volunteer appreciation events. |
